About The Matchmaker’s Playbook and Wingmen Inc. Series

I listened The Matchmaker’s Playbook about a week ago and I instantly fell in love with this funny light hearted, steamy novel. I absolutely LOVED it! 5 huge stars from me. And I have to tell you that the audio books by Rachel Van Dyken are the bests so far I’ve listened. The first ones for me were the books of Consequence series and like a crack I couldn’t stop with them until I listened every single one. 😀  If you buy the Kindle edition you can buy an audio upgrade for only $1,99 and guys, it’s worth every cent!! These books are sooo hilarious! Recently I am listening audio books while I am working (I am an architect so I love listening books while I am drawing :)) But I got some funny looks from my colleagues while I was listening this series, because I just couldn’t stop laughing. Each book is like a 9 hours long stand up comedy. The narrators are brilliant! “This book was completely ridiculous. But in the best way possible.” 😀 

But back to the Wingmen Inc. series, the audio and the story was also really great and I laughed so much! The hero is Ian Hunter who is a former NFL recruit who had to give up his carrier after an injury. After seeing his dream of NFL ruined, Ian decides to open Wingmen Inc. with his best friend Lex. Their company helps women to be noticed by their crushes and they help to make the dream guy fall for the woman. But when the tomboy Blake hires his services, every rule he ever made about his business becomes broken, because “not falling for a client” is definitely one of the main rules. 😉

I can’t wait to read the story of Lex and Gabi, I am sure it will be hilarious. –>

Lines are blurred as Lex becomes less the villain she’s always painted him to be…and starts turning into something more. Gabi has always hated the way she’s been just a little bit attracted to him—no computer-science major should have that nice of a body or look that good in glasses—but “Lex Luthor” is an evil womanizer. He’s dangerous. Gabi should stay far, far away.

Then again, she’s always wanted a little danger.
