Ezúttal az egyik kedvenc számom, a Hey There Delilah’ a the Plain White T’s-től kerül terítékre. Ismét igyekeztem egy magyar idézetet is hozni, amely mily meglepő ez a héten is Leiner Laura egyik könyvéből sikerült, méghozzá az Útvesztőből. (Bocsi kicsit szűkös a magyar könyvpiac, és azt hiszem nem nagyon van másik olyan könyv, amiben olyan sok jó zene található mint az SZJG-ben, de majd igyekszem a jövőben kicsit kreatívabb lenni… :p) A másik könyv amit hozok, az a More Than Her (More Than, #2) Jay McLean -től. Őszintén szólva nekem nagyon tetszett ez a sorozat. Az első kötet picit gyengébb, de aztán egyre jobb és jobb lett ahogy jöttek sorban a kötetek. 🙂

This time I brought Hey There Delilah’ by the Plain White T’s which is one of my most favorites song. This song shows  up in the More Than Her (More Than, #2) by Jay McLean which I really liked! To tell the truth I loved the whole series (the first book was maybe a little weaker, but it got better and better with the next volumes).

“Oh my God,” Micky gasped, facing Lucy. “Remember when I told you about that guy from my school that sang ‘Hey There Delilah’ by the Plain White T’s at his graduation?”

I glanced at Amanda. It’s her ring tone.

Lucy’s brows furrowed, thinking, then, “Yeah, what about it?”

Micky’s eyebrows rose and her head jerked towards Amanda.

“No way!” Lucy’s eyes went wide.

Amanda chuckled a little, and then nodded her head slowly.

“Wait.” Lucy sat up. Looking from Amanda to Micky and then back again. “That musician with the Juilliard scholarship? That’s Ty?”

“At his graduation ceremony, he convinced the committee to let him perform, in front of everybody. He sang Hey There Delilah, just him and his guitar, on stage, but changed it to Hey There Amanda.” Her smile widened, ” I swear to God, every girl there cried. And it was all out ugly cries. Everyone was so jealous of her.”
