Minden egyes alkalommal, amikor egy Amy Harmon könyv utolsó oldalára érek száguldozó gondolatokkal és még annál is hevesebben dobogó szívvel, mindig arra gondolok, hogy „lehetetlen, hogy az írónő képes legyen jobbat írni ennél a könyvnél.” Aztán kezembe veszem a következő Amy Harmon kötetet, és az írónő ismét felülmúlja önmagát. Minden. Egyes. Alkalommal. És amikor eljön az a pillanat, hogy becsukom a könyvet, az mindig kicsit keserédes érzés, mint amikor véget ér egy csodálatos utazás. És micsoda utazás volt ez! Imádtam őket és számtalanszor akadt el a lélegzetem csupán a bennük rejlő szerelem, fájdalom, bátorság és odaadás nagyságától. Egy pár, akiket egymásnak teremtett a sors, de útjuk mégis két különböző irányba tart. Két lélek, akik képesek mindent feláldozni egymásért és másokért.

Amy Harmonnak kivételes tehetsége van a történetmeséséhez. Ez egy olyasfajta ajándék, amit egykor a nagy mesemondók tudtak magukénak. My Review in English

Every single time when I arrive at the last page of an Amy Harmon book with a full mind and even fuller soul, I always think that “it is impossible that Amy Harmon can write better than this story” and then I pick up her next novel and she outdoes herself. Every. Single. Time. And every time when I close her books it feels a little bittersweet too, like what you feel when an amazing journey ends. And it was such a journey! A magical voyage through enchanted forests and mystical lands…

Kjell of Jeru is the Captain of the King’s Guard, but he is so much more than that. He is a brother, a Healer, a fighter, a hero and a lover… But he thinks that his heart is dark and he is convinced he has nothing to offer. Until one day he finds a girl with hair like the sunrise and with a heart of gold, broken in the forest, who may will be able to help him find the light of his heart the first time in his life…

This book was so amazing and magical and it was everything. Kjell and Sasha were such layered, outstanding characters! I loved them so much and they took my breath away so many times with their love, with their pain, with their bravery and with their devotion. Two star-crossed lovers who are ready to sacrifice everything for others and for each other.

Amy Harmon has a special gift of telling her stories, like the gift owned by the greatest old storytellers. She carefully crafts her words, like she would sit down at her enchanted loom and she’d began to weave her magical words into a flawless story with vivid colors, that makes your mind race and your heart feel. Words of magic, words of healing, changing, telling, spinning and words of loving.

Thank you so much Amy Harmon that once again you took me on an unforgettable journey. This is a story that deserves a place on my favorite shelf and that I will carry with me for a long time.
