Amikor először megláttam ezt a lélegzetelállító borítót, azonnal tudtam, hogy kell nekem ez a könyv. Szerencsére nem kellett csalódnom, olyannyira, hogy 2018 egyik kedvenceként fejeztem be ezt a kötetet. Ez egy izgalmas, fordulatos, gyönyörű stílussal megírt regény, szépséges üzenettel.

When I saw this breathtakingly beautiful cover at the first time, I immediately knew that I need to read this book. Luckily it didn’t disappoint me, moreover it became one of my favorite reads of 2018. It’s a beautiful, thrilling story with amazing twists and turns and exceptional writing style. Imádtam! Miért? Miért? Miért halogattam idáig ezt a könyvet, mikor tudhattam volna, hogy Julie Johnson nem okozhat csalódást? Igazi imádnivaló „second-chance” történet, az írónőtől megszokott fordulatokkal fűszerezve.A megszokott humor és lebilincselő írásmód mellett, nagyon sok komoly pillanatot is tartogatott a mű, és ez volt az első Julie Johnson kötet, amely könnyet tudott csalni a szemembe.

I loved it! Why-why-why did I wait with this book so long while I should have known that Julie Johnson couldn’t disappoint me? It was a truly lovable “second-chance” story spiced with the typical Julie Johnson kind of twists and turns. Besides the usual humorous and engaging writing style, this book contained so many beautiful moments and beautiful metaphors, and this was the first Julie Johnson book which could bring tears in to my eyes. Most, hogy augusztus 20. alkalmából kint jártunk a Várnál eszembe jutott ez a könyv. Hogy Julie Johnson hogyan látta a Lánchidat, a Várat, a Siklót, a Hősök terét és gondoltam e jeles nap alkalmából elhozom nektek is ezt a nagyon izgalmas könyvet, amit egyszerűen alig tudtam letenni. 🙂

Soha, úgy értem SOHA nem hittem hogy lesz még valaha olyan könyv ami akár csak a közelébe érhet a Hopeless olvasásakor okozott élménynek. Hááát. Ez a könyv erősen súrolja a határt.
