Uncharted is the tenth novel written by Julie Johnson, and it’s the tenth novel when the author was able to blow my mind with her amazing talent. I just can’t get enough of her books and although The Girl Duet by the Author felt a little more developed and thought-through, this story also hooked me from the very beginning and I truly loved it.

Szaszkó Gabriella ismét képes volt szavak nélkül hagyni. Az írónő nyers, fájdalmas, de igencsak kiemelkedő debütáló regénye, a Maradj velem után, Beszélj hozzám című könyvével ismét egy érzelmekkel teli utazásra invitálja az olvasóit. Amikor késő éjszaka könnyekkel a szemeben fejeztem be ezt a könyvet, sokáig nem jött még álom a szememre, és hiába próbáltam megfékezni csapongó gondolataimat. Ez egy olyan típusú könyv, ami elgondolkoztat, ami olykor megmelengeti, majd néhány oldallal később megfájdítja a szívedet. Egy történet, amely nyomot hagy benned.

Gabriella Szaszkó was able to leave me speechless again. After her raw, painful but remarkable debut novel “Stay with me”, with “Talk to me” she invites her readers to an emotional journey again. After I finished this book late at night with tears in my eyes, sleep wouldn’t come for a while, because I couldn’t tame my rambling thoughts abut this book. This is a kind of story that makes you think, what lifts you up then throw you into the deepest sorrow a few pages later. It’s a kind of book that leaves a permanent mark on you. Tarryn Fisher könyveivel elég változó a kapcsolatom, de az tagadhatatlan, hogy minden egyes története nagyon egyedi. Ez sem egy a tipikus romantikus történet, és nem is egy könnyű olvasmány, bár nem is vártam kevesebbet. Tetszik, hogy az írónő át meri lépni a határokat, és hogy mer különlegeset írni. És tetszik, hogy mer olyan főhősnőket alkotni, akik mások, akik döntéseivel nem mindig értünk egyet, de akikért mégis nagyon drukkolunk.

Maybe my relationship with Tarryn Fisher’s novels are a little erratic, but it’s undeniable that all of her books are really unique. This is not an average romance book either and it’s not an easy read, but I didn’t expect less. I love how the author dares pushing the boundaries and creating the kind of heroines who are different, who we don’t agree with all the time, but who we are always rooting for. Ilyen az, ha egy történetnek lelke van. Elgondolkoztat és nyomot hagy benned. Megmosolyogtat és könnyekre fakaszt. Átölel és összetör. Még az utolsó sorokhoz sem értem, amikor úgy éreztem, hogy le kell tennem egy kicsit, hogy aztán egész délután a szememet törölgessem, és csak ezen a történeten gondolkozzak, majd újra felvértezve magam, elolvassam az utolsó sorokat. És most itt ülök, még mindig könnyek között, és próbálom összeszedni a gondolataimat a könyvről, amely bennem is egy ürességet hagyott.

This is one of those stories that has a soul. It makes you think and leaves permanent footprint in your heart. It makes you smile and makes you cry. It hugs you and breaks you into little pieces. I was not even at the last pages when I felt that I had to put down this book for a little while. Then of course I couldn’t stop thinking about this book all afternoon while I tried to stop my tears. But I had to brace myself to read the last lines of the book, and now I’m here still between tears and try to collect my rambling thoughts about this book, that left a hole in my heart, too. Vicces volt, aranyos volt, olykor forró jelentekkel, szuper karakterekkel és fergeteges szócsatákkal. Rom Com műfajban tényleg tökéletes volt.
